Description

This attractive 1960s cocktail dress by high end designer Marcel Fenez lends itself effortlessly as occasion wear, formal or otherwise. The dress is a simple curve-necked shift cut in black sateen, tailored around the bodice and neatly cinched at the waist with an A-line shin length skirt. The net lace overlay follows the line of the dress, but flares more dramatically at the skirt, and is fashioned into tight fitting quarter-length sleeves that fan out from the elbow. Black satin ribbon trims each cuff and the hemline, which is lightly reinforced by an additional layer of netting to allow playful movement. This piece has a magical combination of simple city chic and the romance of Spanish-style wedding lace. Accessed with a zip fastening at the centre reverse. In beautiful condition and would best suit US size 6, UK size 10 or smaller. NB: the hip will accommodate at 38 inches, although falls in favour of a 36 inch hip.
