Description

This cool and original 1970s maxi dress combines two types of polka dot fabric in a bold format. The colour palette is a grassy green, teal, purple and white. The fabric is a starched lightweight muslin cotton with a very substantial quality brushed cotton underskirt in lilac. The bodice is a smaller polka dot print in purple and white. The label reads Traffic . The construction is of a very high quality with both machine and hand finished details and this dress most likely retailed in an exclusive fashion boutique. It fastens to the rear with the original zip and straps that tie on top of the shoulders. The empire line bodice is neatly shaped and darted with the long skirt gathered from the empire waistband. This piece is in really super vintage condition with no faults of any note. We estimate this to fit size UK 8 to 10, US 4-6.
