Description

This form-fitting, Y2K sleeveless dress was made in France by Thierry Mugler circa 2000-2001 and is from his high-end couture line. The master of hyper-feminine tailoring, Mugler designed it to echo the curves of the body. It is tailored from navy-blue cotton with tonal silk lining and contrasting chevron-shaped, pin-tuck stitching across the bust and hips. There is an elegant low-V neckline and V-shaped back, with a concealed zip fastening to the side. In excellent vintage condition with very gentle signs of use noted – no stains, rips, holes or fade. Labelled a French 42, this dress would best fit up to a UK 12 or US 8. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5 ft 11 in 180 cm, this dress fit her well with room to spare.
