This elegant Yves Saint Laurent jersey dress is a signature design; almost every creative director since the couturier himself has interpreted this classic look in collections spanning all seasons. The inky black viscose fabric has a double thickness giving the dress a lovely fluidity and weight to it. This design features a collarless V-neck and wrap-around detail which is secured with a hidden button on the waistline. A beautiful satin ribbon wraps around as a tie belt. We have pictured a near identical look seen on the runway for the spring summer 1999 haute couture collection, although this dress is a few seasons later and from the Rive Gauche line. In excellent condition with no notable flaws and is tagged as a size small; would best suit US size 4-6, UK size 8-10. Our model is a UK 6-8 and 5ft 4in. (163cm), this dress was a good fit on her, though slightly roomy on the bust.
