This glamorous vintage 1960s cocktail dress with elaborate bead embellishments is in beautiful condition and is of excellent quality although unlabelled. The black crepe fabric is generously adorned with bugle beads to create a shimmering surface texture interspersed with a decorative swirl design in black sequins. The simple line of the dress and the flattering hourglass silhouette makes this dress extremely wearable and the intense embellishment does not detract from the timeless city chic of this piece. The cap sleeves balance the curve of the hip beautifully and the sweetheart neckline flatters the line of the bust. There is a central zip fastening at the reverse. Would best suit US size 8 – 10, UK size 12 – 14.
